FIRE FIGHT 2 — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This policy covers FIRE FIGHT 2 for Meta Quest ("the game", "we"), a virtual-reality game developed by yellkell. It explains what information the game handles, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. The game has no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs, and it never asks for your real name, email address or contact details.
Information we collect
- Meta user ID. When you start the game, it asks Meta's platform for your app-scoped user ID and a one-time proof that our server checks with Meta. We use the ID only to find your game profile, so your progress and coins follow you between sessions and devices.
- Display name. Your Meta Horizon username is used as your starting callsign, shown on leaderboards and to other players. You can change it in the game at any time; the name you choose replaces it.
- Gameplay records. Experience points, wins and losses, campaign progress, coin balance and unlocked cosmetics, stored against your game profile.
- Purchases. When you buy a coin pack, Meta handles the payment. We receive and keep a record of which pack was bought, how many coins it carried, when, and Meta's reference for the purchase, so we can credit your coins exactly once and answer disputes. We never receive your payment details.
- Matchmaking data. Temporary connection records used to put players in the same match. They are deleted in routine cleanup.
- Voice chat (microphone). Only with your permission, and only while you are in a match or social space with other players, your microphone audio is relayed live to them. It is never recorded, stored or analysed. You can mute yourself, mute or block others, or turn voice chat off in Settings.
- Safety reports. If you use the in-game "Report a problem" tool, we store the text you type with your callsign and game profile so we can act on it.
- Local settings. Preferences such as volumes and tutorial progress are stored on your headset and never leave it.
- Server logs. Our servers keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and request time) to keep the service running and secure. They are deleted within 30 days.
What we do not collect
- No real names, email addresses, or contact details.
- No friends lists, profile photos or other Meta account data beyond the user ID and username above.
- No advertising identifiers, analytics or cross-app tracking.
- No recordings of your voice, play space, cameras or surroundings.
- No body, hand, eye or fitness data beyond the live headset and controller positions needed to play, which are used in the moment and never stored.
How we use information
- To keep your profile, progress, coins and purchases.
- To run multiplayer matches, leaderboards and voice chat.
- To review safety reports and keep the community safe.
We do not sell any data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Sharing
- Other players see your callsign, your avatar, your leaderboard entries and, while you play together, your live voice and in-game movements.
- Meta verifies your identity and processes your purchases under Meta's own privacy policy.
- Service providers. Our servers and database are hosted by Fly.io, which processes the data only to provide that hosting.
We share nothing else with anyone, except where required by law.
Retention and deletion
- Your game profile and purchase records are kept while you play the game. Purchase records may be kept longer where the law requires it.
- You can ask us to delete your game profile and other server-side data at any time through the in-game report tool ("please delete my data") or on our Discord community. We will delete it within 30 days.
- Local settings are removed when you uninstall the game.
Children
FIRE FIGHT 2 is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, for example in a callsign or report, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Material changes will also be announced on the game's Discord.
Contact
